A bunch of Nutters and a bear

The Lemmings Paramotor club started life several years ago by a bunch of self confessed loons from Kent who one day decided it would be a good idea to stick a motor on their backs and jump off Beachy Head. Things went downhill from there. The club founders were all self taught, some already having a background in paragliding, others just having balls the size of melons(that includes the girls).

Like flies around dung, more nutters were attracted to the group and it grew to national proportions. Members joined from afar afield as London, Dorset and Scotland (but thankfully not Wales). The Lemmings now boast a membership of more than one member and have toured from Yorkshire to Spain.

The Lemmings ethos is flying as hard as we party, but to fly safely and take personal responsibility. We encourage our members to improve their technique and skills but you won't get a three hour lecture by a man in a yellow jacket if you do something stupid (although you may end up getting kicked in the nuts and buying the rounds for the rest of the night). If you do something really stupid that endagers yourself or others you may get escorted from the site by your throat - but we mean it in the nicest possible way.

Flying with the Lemmings means finding a friendly farmer who'll lend you a field, inviting down some mates where you'll pitch a tent, fly, land, get drunk and kidnap some of the locals. It means throwing citrus fruit at each other in the streets of Spain and being humiliated on a regular basis. Most of all it means having a good time.
