About Me:

The Dundee Ice Arena opened in the year 2000, established skaters moved to Dundee with coaches Simon and Debi, Briggs, and within a few weeks, development programmes and learn to skate were set up. Figure skaters from the old rink were by this time parents themselves and had children of their own who also become involved in the activities at the new Ice Arena. Shortly after opening it was agreed that a figure skating club and dance club should be formed, a constitution was drawn up and agreed. Working with the arena manger and Debi Briggs, the club set up its own development programme, club nights were established and group tuition was arranged and within a short period, the first spin spiral competition was held.
